Portfolio

For one of my classes (the name is complicated, but essentially it's a self-study fashion class), I had to make a portfolio and include in it two of the garments I made over the semester! So, I thought I'd share the pictures here too. :)
The dress is a basic shift dress I based off a pattern found in a book I bought from JoAnn's... "Simple Dress Book" was the title, I believe. It has a bunch of cute pictures and, well, simple dresses inside of it. So useful.
I drew the pattern for the shorts myself, which could explain why it doesn't fit too well. Whoops. They were the first garment I've ever completely constructed on my own so I'm still pretty proud.

Feel free to admire the gorgeous grill in the background. Really makes the pics, I'm not sure what I'd do without it there. </3 </3

SO. The shorts... (and the foot tan.)

And the dress! (And more foot tan!) **Please pretend the dress isn't wrinkly. Haha. Apparently I need to buy some powder thing to make it more un-wrinkly, as the iron was pretty ineffective.
